STREP THROAT (a type of tonsillitis)…
…can be a really important clue if you have Rosacea.
Especially if you are looking to get out of the vicious cycle of just managing symptoms and you want to start actually healing the root cause of your Rosacea (and who doesn't!)
A history of strep throat is a big clue because strep throat is caused by Streptococcus bacteria and this is the #1 bacteria that I see out of balance in the stool tests I run on Rosaceans.
This matters because if gut bacteria is out of balance, then this can set off the inflammation that ultimately leads to Rosacea.
Think about it... most of us know how uncomfortable strep throat is. So, if that situation is going on in the gut (…after all, we swallow over 500 times per day!), we can easily see how that can set up a chronic inflammatory situation!
Also, certain species of Streptococcus are big histamine-producers which is the chemical that can cause redness and flushing.
Can you see how it is all adding up?
Typically, when I see Streptococcus high in a client's stool test, we will start working on 3 main things:
* Oral health and oral microbiome rebalancing
* Ensuring robust stomach acid levels
* Herbal rebalancing therapy for the gut
Each person needs something a little different, but with consistent application and a personalized plan, Streptococcus imbalances can be turned around and skin sensitivity and symptoms reduce too!
So, if Strep throat is a regular visitor in your health history, you might want to start thinking about whether that might be the key to healing Rosacea for you and whether you need some help and advice.
